How to Instill Fear into the Terrorists

December 30, 2009

This attempted bombing on Northwest 253 comes full circle with admission from Obama administration that the system failed after only two days prior stating that the system worked.  Not only did the system fail, it failed miserably. CIA is reported to have known about Abdul Mutallab and according to Fox News was following his activities since October.  There was a complete break down in the passing of this information to all agencies involved.

To instill fear into the terrorists around the world we need to accomplish a few feats that will show the Jihad, al Qaeda, al Qaida and other terrorist cells that we will follow through with action upon attacks toward the US.  The first item will be to use the money that is appropriated for Homeland Security for Homeland Security.

We have issues within the borders North and South.  There are hundreds of illegals crossing the borders into California, Texas, and Arizona each day with border patrol unable to stop them because funding isn’t there.  What would happen if they were carrying bombs and planted them around the country.   How will we stop them?  That is a serious problem we should be answering.

Senator Dodd requested that 4.5 million dollars be taken from Homeland Security funding to put into a  bill for firefighters grants.  According to a RedState report, in July  Chris Dodd sponsored the bill that took the funds from the section of the bill authorizing expenditure for the purchase and installation of  explosive detection equipment and appropriated it to this other bill for grants to firefighters.  http://www.govtrack.us/congress/amendment.xpd?session=111&amdt=s1458   According to the Heritage Foundation this funding (H.R. 3791) helps to create dependency of firefighters on the Federal government instead of local government funding.  session=111&amdt=s1458 http://www.heritage.org/Research/HomelandSecurity/wm2657.cfm  WE need to stop the pork barrel spending prevalent in Washington.  There were over 120 amendments to this bill after sending it to committee to meld the two bills into one.

After we spend the money where it is appropriated we need to elect representatives that understand the American Citizens are tired of the waste in Washington.  We need to vote for individuals that will represent the will of the people and not their personal agenda’s or those of special interest.  If the candidates in your elections will not commit to lowing taxes, cutting pork-barrel spending, freeze all spending increases in the Federal budget – do not vote for them.

If the candidates will not commit to the safety and security of our borders, do not vote for them.  If  they are for treating Terrorists as citizens of this country and having trials in a court of law instead of Military Tribunals, do not vote for them since we are still at war.  We must not continue down this path of political correctness. We must travel a new trail, a new direction, one where we do not accept politics as usual. If you do harm to American Citizens, or attack on our soil we will deal with you as enemy combatants period, no questions asked.
